Callum Russell’s multidisciplinary practice is concerned with language and writing, with particular emphasis on how digital technologies and culture affect language and written communication today.

Russell's artistic practice investigates these ideas, looking at both contemporary language uses and issues, as well as looking back to earlier language cultures and practices.
