Paresh Nrshinga artwork for sale and artist biography
Paresh was born in Kenya and moved to the UK at a young age. Through his childhood he was fascinated by colours, movements and sounds, the young Paresh transferred these into expressions into his sketchbooks.
His travels around the world, combined with his deep spirituality, influence his unique paintings. Paresh admires artists such as Pollock, Warhol, Klimt and Picass...o. This influence from 20th century abstraction is expressed in the artists fluid paintings, which are bold and bursting with energy. His paintings reflect his love of abstract expressionism, through free, spontaneous brushstrokes and full compositions focused on texture and gestural strokes. Paresh believe that colour creates beauty and energy. It provokes emotion and feelings. After lifelong fascination with colour and shape, his painting process is heavily fixated on the two pure forms of art. He starts with an emotion or feeling, and then let’s it “spills out” onto his canvas, letting his impulses and inner emotion take over and guide his paint brush. Through his gestural and expressive paintings the artist aims to connect with viewer on emotional level and capture the moment on his canvas Through his passion for music he developed a flair for transferring and transforming the energy of sound onto canvas in the form of colour and movement creating vibrant visual effects. He wants to provoke sensation in his viewers through mirroring the movement of music, through fluid, loose application of paint and a meditative working approach. He hopes that his audience can connect with his paintings on a spiritual level.
Paresh has exhibited widely in the UK, France and Italy along with many corporate and private collectors.
