As a citizen of The Netherlands, the Labyrinth Gallery isn't around the corner. So when I planned my trip to Brighton a visit to the gallery was high on my to do list. It moved just to a new location at the beginning of The Lanes. The owner takes the time for a nice conversation and knows the art and artist of it he is selling. The gallery is full with music inspired art. Very worth a visit!I'm going back home with a beautiful artwork by Maria Primolan.

Had a great experience purchasing a Terry O’Neill print from Labyrinth. Darren is so knowledgeable and generous with his time. I was purchasing remotely (from U.S.) and I felt so comfortable with transaction. Excellent communication and very fair pricing. Hope to be able to visit the gallery in person some day.

Me and my Italian boyfriend Enrico were on a short holiday in Brighton and stumbled upon this beautiful little gallery where we received a warm welcome by the curator and the owner! We got to hang out and talk about art for a while and had so much fun before we dove back into Brightons nightlife again.. The art was really cool especially T Boy's art.. We'll definitely visit again when we're there! ♡

Labyrinth Gallery is a wonderful place for David Bowie fans and unique art pieces. We spent a good couple of hours browsing as iI was such a pleasure to talk with Darren & Ruth who shared their passion and enthusiasm with generosity. As we couldn't decide between two Bowie pieces, we ended up purchasing both and we are delighted!

Excellent service from Darren at Labyrinth in helping me to find the right artwork for my new house.I would recommend Darren to anyone who is looking for artwork. Darren takes a consultative approach to make sure he fully understands his clients requirements then he will work with the artists and studio’s to make sure the end product is exactly as required.I found Darren to be very fair when it came to working with the budget that I had set and he remained fully contactable throughout the ordering process and right through to the point that I had taken delivery of the artwork.I will definitely use Darren again and can’t recommend him highly enough.

I visited several galleries in Brighton, and this was the one that had the most pieces that I would consider buying. Staff were friendly and took the time to talk to us. I made a purchase a few months later which I am very happy with.

There are many art galleries in Brighton but if you're a pop art fan, there are none better than Labyrinth Galleries. We had a first class viewing experience, thanks to Darren, the owner, who was happy to show us around. He is very enthusiastic about the art and rightly so as the gallery contains many amazing pieces. We settled on a Louis Sidoli aluminium limited edition print of Debbie Harry which looks absolutely fantastic, now it's on the wall. The whole buying experience was straight forward snd Darren personally provided impeccable after sales service. We're now saving up ready for another visit. If you're an art/music lover and in Brighton for the day, do check Labyrinth out. If you can't get there the website is also excellent.

We absolutely loved discovering Labyrinth in Brighton. Darren and Louise were so helpful, knowledgable and enthusiastic it was a pleasure chatting with them. The gallery is full of awesome art work by some fabulous artists and we really enjoyed being surrounded by art and music our favourite things! We could not resist purchasing two beautiful pieces of art. There was absolutely no pressure from Darren, my fellow Bowie fan, just insight, information and friendly enthusiasm. I wanted to buy everything Bowie related it was all so stunning. One piece - Louis Sidoli, The Visitor David Bowie 76 - we brought home (see photos) and we are awaiting the delivery of Duffy - Aladdin Sane Eyes Open Aluminium - with great excitement. The Visitor looks amazing in our home and we are so happy with it. Beautiful, beautiful gallery, lovely, lovely people. Edit: We now have the Duffy and have added photos. In one photo I have attempted to show both pieces but you have to enlarge to see.

This is a lovely gallery with a striking collection. Louise was fantastic in helping me to select the perfect gift and we spent time ranging the images together for a bespoke framing. The result is a fantastic and original work which we both absolutely love.

I found this lovely art gallery while wondering round the lanes in Brighton. I must have spent nearly an hour inside browsing all the limited edition pop art they have on display. Louise, the manager, was very helpful providing me with some very useful information on the artists, which helped me make my selection. I purchased a very nice limited edition print of David Bowie by the artist Louis Sidoli. My purchase was delivered personally by Darren the owner of the gallery, whilst he was up in the Midlands. I am delighted by my purchase and now its on my wall I know i made the right choice. A must visit gallery when in Brighton.

Our special weekend was made more special when we saw the David Bowie Mugshot picture in the window and decided to pop in to make a purchase. They were very accommodating, helpful and friendly, providing assistance in our choice of picture. If you are in to 50’s to 80’s icons you won’t be disappointed. Will certainly visit again when next in Brighton

This gallery is for everyone who lived through or loves the 70s & 80s, who worshipped at the feet of the bands and artists of the era and who loved the music that they created. Walking into the place instantly transported me back to to a time when life was more colourful, more carefree and much more interesting. The artwork was striking and the subject choices perfect; the feelings of nostalgia were overwhelming. The only problem that I faced was which piece to buy - I knew that I couldn't leave the shop empty handed. I would like to thank the lady who served me for her patience - for listening to someone in his post-50s wax lyrical about his life in Brighton in the 80s. I went home to Merseyside a happy man with a perfect gift for my daughter, who is a massive Bowie fan, and who appreciates music as it should be.

Was passing the shop late one night recently and my eye was caught by an image of David Bowie inside. Went in and proceeded to have a wonderful time with the owner and two other customers, reminiscing about our first ever concerts attended, subsequently ones and that we all had been at the Bowie's Milton Keyes - Serious Moonlight concert.Oh forgot to add the art on display well worth a visit to look at.

If you're looking for dull art from a library-esque gallery don't go here. On the other hand if you're looking for the most amazing pop-art and modern culture images then run, don't walk, to Labyrinth. My wife and I had no intention of shopping for art this week but were drawn in by the works in the window and just a glimpse of what was on the wall inside. The owner Darren is friendly, informative and knows his stuff. I am looking forward to buying more art once my bank balance has recovered from this trip. So much fun. Thank you.

Tucked away in The Lanes of Brighton, The Labyrinth Gallery offers a captivating fusion of contemporary art and pop culture. The series of enchanting "Alice In Wonderland" pieces by artist Lex, showcased in the front window, immediately caught my eye, prompting me to step inside to request permission to photograph them for a close friend. To my delight, I was warmly greeted by the owner, Darren Marcus, who not only welcomed my request but also engaged in conversation with me.Despite my limited knowledge of art, Darren graciously invited me into the world of Lex's creations, sharing insights into the artist's latest series on robotics and future projects. His passion for art was palpable, and his willingness to engage with visitors regardless of their expertise was truly commendable. What stood out the most was the genuine warmth and friendliness of my experience. Despite my lack of intention to make a purchase, Darren made me feel valued as a visitor, fostering a sense of belonging within the gallery space. As I left The Labyrinth Gallery, I couldn't help but reflect on the unexpected delight of my visit. It's more than just an art space; it's a welcoming sanctuary where everyone, regardless of their level of expertise, can appreciate and engage with art. If you find yourself in Brighton, I highly recommend stopping by and having a chat with Darren. You won't regret it!

We have visited Darren‘s art gallery twice in the last couple of months. In fact, one of the reasons we returned to Brighton was to show other family members his collection. Darren was very helpful during both our visits. We hope to buy some of his pieces very soon… They are excellent!
