What a lovely place I walked into while visiting g St. Ives for a day. I have met Sarah and fallen in love with her photography instantly. Highly recommend to visit while around. A lot of lovely art from local artist.

I have recently returned from St Ives Cornwall where I discovered a hidden gem. On a little back road there is a place called ‘The Island Gallery’ I was first attracted to the beautiful work displayed in the window. On entering I was given a warm welcome by a charming lady and invited to browse; with a promise of more information if needed. No hard sell, which is so often the case! It quickly became apparent that the work displayed had been curated by an expert eye. Here indeed was a body of work created or inspired by artists joined by the connective tissue of this beautiful corner of Great Britain. This might sound like pure hyperbole, but I found the experience simply on another level. The ambience of the Gallery resonated with my senses and was the perfect setting for all the work displayed. beautiful. Dr L Haynes

The lady who runs it has a fantastic knowledge of each artist and their original pieces and is so helpfulA trip to St Ives would not be complete without visiting this gallery which honours and continues the tradition of fine artworks
