I visited Clifton Fine Art's stand at Affordable art fair in London recently. I particularly liked a piece but did not purchase it on the day, when I could not stop thinking about the piece, I contacted Rowan at the gallery the following week. He could not have been more helpful, I was super impressed with their service and advice, fortunately for me the piece was still available so I bought it and it was delivered to my door just 3 days later. Impeccable service, highly recommended.

I had a great experience with the gallery. The manager, Mr. Mead, was very helpful and responsive. He answered all of my questions, assisted me with my purchase from beginning to end, and arranged for international shipping which was delivered promptly. The pieces were carefully secured and packed meticulously, arriving without incidence. I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Purchased from 5,000+ miles (8,500+ km) away:I’m in Los Angeles and recently missed out on acquiring a painting by Harry Bunce. After a quick Google search, I came across a version available at Clifton Fine Arts. After reading a few of the 5-star reviews, I reached out by email and promptly received a reply from one Rowan Mead. Words would not do justice to the service I received from Rowan. Pick anything - knowledge, service, communication - it was all top notch. Almost forgot… the shipping. Superb packaging and on my wall 10-days after purchasing. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy from again and neither should you.

We recently bought Our Walk by Cat Croxford from Clifton fine art and I have to say, the whole experience was very good indeed. We were well looked after, the painting arrived quickly and there were some nice touches in how it was wrapped and how we were treated as customers. The painting itself is stunning and surpasses our expectations when up in our dining room. I find myself getting lost in it occasionally. It is very beautiful. We will almost certainly buy Cat’s work again.

Rowan helped us buy an amazing painting by Steve Slimm recently, a beautiful depiction of the Avon Gorge. Clifton Fine Art has many great pieces to suit all tastes, and Rowan was knowledgable and very helpful when we were making our decision. We couldn’t rate our experience higher and hopefully will be back to add more pieces to our collection in the future.

The problem with a lot of galleries (especially the chains) is that it doesn't feel that they are invested into the artists.I get the sense that at Clifton Fine Art they really care about every artist and every piece of art they have on display and they want to find something that you connect with.I recommend a visit to have a look around, but most importantly, have a chat about what you like and see where it takes you.

Just happened to be passing this gallery yesterday and was drawn in by a painting in the window. Ended up buying it. Had it delivered in the evening and even hung on my wall for me. Excellent gallery and fantastic customer service"UPDATE TO LAST REVIEW2 years on and just purchased my third piece of art from this gallery. I really cannot praise Rowan enough and the amazing service I received. Once again delivered and positioned perfectly on my wall. I’m so pleased we have found Clifton Fine Art. It has a great selection of quality artwork for all tastes. We’re very pleased with my purchases made from them. Met Dom at an Art Fair over 18 months ago and he has been a fantastic source of knowledge and advice in the art world for me. We popped in while passing, just an off-chance, and ended up buying a fantastic painting! We were looked after by Dom who shared lots of time, patience and knowledge about several of the artists they represent. No hard sell, but practical offers to help us consider if this was the right piece for us.Once we had decided, Rowan was very helpful making arrangements for Dom to make the 3 hour trip to East Anglia.The experience was great and we are delighted with our art.

We recently purchased a Rob Walker painting from Clifton Fine Art. We had been looking for a painting by this artist and spotted the perfect one on the Clifton Fine Art website. We don't live locally so couldn't view it in person but the gallery manager was really friendly and helpful, sending through photos and a video of the painting along with all other information requested. The gallery was very accommodating, arranging a payment plan comprising an initial deposit followed by six monthly payments which made the cost of the painting more manageable. Following the purchase, the painting arrived by DHL carefully packaged and in perfect condition. We love it so much - thank you!

I live in Bristol and stumbled upon this gallery by chance. What a fantastic find! A vast array of artwork of various different genres. I bought my first piece of art thanks to Dom, who was very helpful, friendly and informative - without pushing for a sale. I've now bought three pieces from Dom and love them all. I will be a regular visitor from now on, I highly recommend visiting Clifton Fine Art if you are in or around Bristol
