Peter Pauko’s latest work conveys a kind of ephemeral atmosphere and interconnection of dream and reality.
The aim of his work is to capture the landscape in a simple and sometimes kitsch way. To express its simple beauty and to transport the viewer to those moments where, as a child, we would lie down in the meadow, swim in the river, to be there, to be in nothing, to b...e nowhere.
Although undoubtedly aesthetically beautiful, he says, 'they do not want to say anything substantial, they do not capture any important things, they do not look for truth, do not show what sort of people we should be.
